Here we go again. I find myself painting birds of prey quite often. Each time I do the bust or head shots I am trying to capture a slice of their soul, a glimpse into their being. Dr. James Enderson, a friend and one of the scientist’s intimately responsible for bringing the Peregrine back from the brink of extinction once told me Peregrines are ALWAYS serious, it’s hard to imagine a peregrine laughing!
I do accept ideas for commissions and would love to talk with you about it. I am lucky enough to paint creatures and locations that inspire me.
If you are interested in a painting, two things are required: patience and the knowledge that it is my vision that you will be receiving, based on information shared between us. If we do come to an agreement, you will receive a one-of-a-kind Stephen Koury treasure.
