MUSEUM GALA~

(Linda Mack, Cindy Ross, Necia, Tommy Mack, Steve, & State Rep. Dennis Ross~) The Polk Museum of Art Auction was a delightful event. It was old home week for Steve. We enjoyed catching up with good friends and we made some new ones.


WORKSHOP AT MARY'S ISLAND, ACE BASIN~

Stephen fit in some referencing before giving workshops to the Junior Duck Stamp winners of South Carolina. (Above: Steve getting photos of a big alligator in middle of wetlands area.) In the evenings, at the lodge at Mary's Island, Steve relaxes and eats the local specialty dish, Brunswick Stew. There is always plenty of jumbo shrimp for everyone. After dinner all of the instructors/artists swap tales and reconnect. Stephen has done the workshop for many years now. This is a photo from one of the past dinners. It is always a great time. "ALERT" New Print Release-___

This handsome painting was auctioned off at one of the Founding Buck Masters Fundraisers in Lakeland, FL. It did very well for them with several bidders fighting over it. This painting was in high demand and you can see why, the light is wonderful, and the shadow on the bucks back is amazing.
