Brook Trout are basically living jewelry and where we live each fall they seem to polish up! There are a couple of shallow feeder streams that enter the lake we live near. Each fall as spawning begins these living jewels crowd these small streams and compete for the females. They rush all over chasing off rivals and siding up to the females, it’s a great show!
