Falcons really intrigue me, and the more science learns about these amazing birds the more I am enthralled by them. To me they represent a force or feeling of freedom, wide open space..big spaces. So when I paint them I find myself wanting to convey the feeling of big spaces, even in small paintings. In this piece I see him perched on a high crag and my viewpoint is slightly below allowing me to include the amazing sky behind him!
