Spirit

I grew up in northern Arizona and spent a great deal of time in the canyons and dry washes of the southwest, these glyphs are everywhere. There are canyons that have glyphs from several generations of people, some glyphs are very powerful! This piece is one of those powerful panels with a wonderfully aware harris hawk. The painting was meant to be intimate and the eye contact with the bird brings that feeling home.
