Boundless

I absolutely love swallowtail Kites! I am lucky to have them visit and nest where I live after completing a 4000 mile journey back from the Pantanal in South America. Simply watching them move thru the air, circle, bank, glide and dive is captivating, all while using the smallest of movements with their bodies. They represent one of the most efficient flying model in avian species today, effortless and boundless. I am totally reminded of watching a wonderful ballet when they are around and they possess another skill..one minute they are there and the next they are gone, they can just vanish! The native Americans believe that the kites are the great creator's window on our world and act as a messenger between the world above and ours below.
